Marcy is a certified Children's Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher and the owner of Little Roots Yoga. She holds a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Child Psychology and Development. For the last decade she has taught children in Pre-K through 5th Grade. Her focus is now on teaching the benefits and practice of yoga and mindfulness to children of all ages. Marcy has also always been a fitness enthusiast. By creating Little Roots Yoga, she has been able to combine her passions for fitness, children's health and wellness, and mindfulness. Her hope is to help them become healthy, confident, strong, compassionate, and resilient children and encourage them to use these skills all throughout their lives.
We are passionate about children's physical and mental wellness. Our goal is to help kids to be healthy, strong, resilient, confident, kind and happy human beings. We hope to teach them that living a healthy lifestyle can be both fun and playful! These are skills and lessons that children can use throughout their lives to become successful, well adjusted, adults!

Studies have shown that children gain body awareness, strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Yoga & Mindfulness also helps children to decrease anxiety, teaches self regulation and social/emotional learning, improves focus, and relieves stress.
